What are Kameos?

Kameos are a new fighting mechanic that allows players to add a support character to their team for quick and powerful assists.

Which Characters are Kameos?

There is a Kameo available to collect for every Gold and Diamond character in the game.

Are Kameos available to all players?

Players must reach Account Level 10 to unlock Kameo functionality.

How can I unlock Kameos?

The first Kameo card you will get for free at Account Level 10 - you'll be able to choose between Klassic Sub-Zero and Klassic Scorpion Kameos. Additionally, brand new Kameo Card Packs are available in the Store.

Where can I use Kameos?

Kameo Fighters are temporarily unavailable in Faction Wars as we investigate an issue. But don't worry, they're fully functional in all other modes like Battle Mode, Towers, and more!

What type of moves do Kameos do?

Kameos have two attacks that can be unlocked and upgraded:

• Kameo Attack 1 - This type of Kameo Attack is triggered with a Kameo Button. It has two versions:
  • If the opponent's Health is higher than 30%, it performs the Kameo’s Special Attack 1
  • If the opponent's Health is lower than 30%, it performs the Kameo’s X-Ray/Fatal Blow. Available only once per match.
• Kameo Attack 2 - This type of Kameo Attack is triggered as a Perfect Block - a Block timed correctly against an opponent's Special Attack.  If successful, it performs the Kameo’s Special Attack 2.

How often can I activate my Kameo in a battle?

The cooldown for Kameo Attack 1 is 40 seconds, and 60 seconds for Kameo Attack 2. These cooldowns can be reduced with Kameo Fusion progression.

How do I add a Kameo to my team? 

The Pre-fight screen now includes a new Kameo card slot that lets you select a Kameo from your Kollection, with similar menus for selecting characters for your team.

Are Kameos upgradable?

Yes!  Kameo Cards have their own progression of Levels and Fusions, similar but independent from Character Cards.

Can I Equip Gear to my Kameos?

No, Kameos cannot Equip Gear.

Do Kameo's have a Talent?

Yes, the Kameo Talent is a very useful counter strategy against opponents with a Kameo and is available to all players. The Talent, Binding Blow, can be found in the Support section of Talents. When equipped, Combo Enders have an increased chance (up to 50%) to apply Kameo Attack 2 cooldown on the opponent for 7 seconds. Applying the Kameo Attack 2 cooldown will temporarily prevent your opponent from using their Defensive Kameo.
