What are Event Towers?

Event Towers are lore-based limited-time-only, single-player events that feature exclusive tower-themed Equipment and impressive game rewards. Battle through the tower levels and knock out Bosses like Scorpion in the Shirai Ryu Tower, Sub-Zero in the Lin Kuei Tower, and Johnny Cage in the Action Movie Tower. Claim victory and Test Your Might in the Fatal versions for an extra challenge!  

 

How it Works:

 

Details & Tips:

  • General

    • Most Towers have two difficulties: Regular & Fatal 
    • The run time of Event Towers vary, but typically the Fatal versions of Towers run for a shorter period of time.

  • Battles

    • Event Towers are made up of several challenging battles – usually up to 200 battles. 
    • You will get 5 attempts (rechargeable twice for a max of 15 attempts) every 12 hours. Some events may affect the number of attempts/recharges. The timer on the Event Tower card on your main menu displays how long until your next attempt refreshes.

  • Teams

    • Your team is made up of 3 characters from your Kollection.
      • You can have up to 3 pre-set teams available for battle.
  • Tap on the “Edit Team” button to manage the characters for the team you have currently selected.

  • Equipment

    • Each Tower has a unique set of powerful Weapons, Armor, and Accessories specially crafted to conquer the associated Tower with additional kombat bonuses. 
    • Tower Equipment sets have 3 different rarities: Epic, Rare, Normal
    • Most Tower Equipment sets include Brutality Equipment sets that are needed to perform iconic battle ending moves! 

  • Rewards

    • Each Tower has a unique set of special rewards that can include guaranteed Diamond Fighters and Epic Equipment. There are rewards for completing the Tower (Main Reward), completing Boss Fights, and Standard Participation Rewards. 
    • Check the event banner for details about the specific rewards offered during that event! Note that every time you beat a tower it will reset and you can continue to earn the exclusive rewards.

Event Towers

Here’s a look at the Event Towers you may encounter in Mortal Kombat Mobile. Check back in the game often to see which Towers are currently running. 

 

Hellspawn Tower & Equipment 

Travelers beware, the Hellspawn Towers are not for the faint of heart! Climb into a fiery underworld filled with undead beings and demonic entities like Boss Tormented Soul Spawn and Hellspawn Scorpion. Equip your characters with flame filled tower-themed equipment to ignite their hellish abilities and dominate the battlefield.

 

Remastered Black Dragon Tower & Equipment 

Kano, Kabal, Tremor, and Erron Black await your return to the fully remastered Black Dragon Towers - Available in TWO difficulties! All Black Dragon Tower Equipment art has been updated along with the bonuses. If you already own Black Dragon Tower Equipment you will automatically get the updates. The Fatal version of the Black Dragon Tower now includes a chance to earn the newest Diamond MK1 Shang Tsung, and both Tower completion rewards include Dragon Krystals – a new, highly valuable resource.

 

Shirai Ryu Tower & Equipment 

Fight off the Shirai Ryu clan and claim victory over the remastered Shirai Ryu Tower – Available in TWO difficulties! Knock out Shirai Ryu clan bosses like Takeda and Scorpion as you climb the Shirai Ryu Towers. 

 

Edenian Tower & Equipment 

Fight off bosses like Rain, Kitana, and Jade to earn rewards as you climb to the top. Rewards include a chance to get Edenian Tower Equipment like the Edenian Pie and Royal Wine. Unleash the powerful Princess Guard to cancel your opponent's healing effects, or armor up with the Dynasty Parade Uniform for a chance to apply Shield Break on Combo Enders! 

 

Elder Winds Tower & Equipment

Help the Elder Gods win the war in the Elder Winds Tower event! Fight against Elder Gods like Raiden and Nightwolf to prepare them for battle and weaken their enemies along the way. 

 

Lin Kuei Tower & Equipment

Begin your journey through the frozen heights of the new Lin Kuei Tower but beware, members of the Lin Kuei will appear along the way to defend their keep and Grandmaster! You will also encounter powerful Bosses that have massive amounts of health that persists between battles.

 

Remastered Tower of Horror & Equipment

Enter at your own risk! The Tower of Horror is full of twists and turns! Rise from the dead and begin the fight to earn the unique and unearthly Tower of Horror Equipment. Cheat death when equipped with the Epic Living Dead armor and reanimate with temporary invincibility and 100% unblockable basic attacks! Drain your opponent’s power on tag-in with the Epic Wailing Spirit.

Nightmare Tower & Equipment

This seasonally spooky Tower usually pops up around Halloween time. Find bosses like Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees and Leatherface lurking around the Tower. Unleash a new kind of terror with the horrifyingly gruesome  Nightmare Tower Equipment! Put on the Killer's Jacket to ward off enemies and respawn Demon Bat's to make your opponents Bleed!

 

Sorcerer’s Tower & Equipment

It has begun! Begin your ascension to the top of the Sorcerer's and Fatal Sorcerer's Towers. Battle Shang Tsung and his accomplices like Shao Kahn, Quan Chi, Goro, Kano, and Mileena to unlock rewards. Unleash the unearthly powers of the Sorcerer’s Tower Equipment to defeat your foe! Spit Acid from the Dragon's Deathly Vile to steal their Power or wear the spiked Varan Jacket to dodge their Special Attacks. 

 

Earthrealm Tower & Equipment

Fight off bosses like Nightwolf, Raiden, and Liu Kang to earn rewards as you climb to the top. Rewards include a chance to get Earthrealm Tower Equipment like Johnny Cage’s Famous Dashing Smile and Body of Steel Armor. Check out the Jinsei Hat that gives 50% Critical Hit boost or Peaceful Mind for 40% Critical Hit reduction!

 

Dark Queen’s Tower & Equipment

History took its toll on Sindel but when tempted with more power and privilege she turned her back on almost everyone. The Dark Queen’s Tower takes place in the past when Outworld invaded Edenia. Jerrod and Sindel had ruled Edenia for thousands of years, but Shao Kahn had other plans. Now you’re right in the middle of the Edenian war. There’s no time to choose sides, fight off the Edenians and Outworlders to survive. Take advantage of the Tower equipment such as Jinxed Whip, which gives a 45% critical hit boost!



White Lotus Tower & Equipment 

The White Lotus Tower event features MK11 Liu Kang as the main Boss! The White Lotus is a secret society who protects Earthrealm from outside invaders. Your mission is to break into the White Lotus, find out their secrets, and reap the benefits. Win battles for a chance to earn brand-new White Lotus Tower Equipment like the Shintai of Malice, and earn a guaranteed Diamond character when you defeat the Tower!

 

Action Movie Tower & Equipment 

Lights. Camera. Action! Enter the Action Movie Tower to find familiar characters from the 1995 movie plot like Johnny Cage, Raiden, and Sonya. Bosses will consist of Johnny and his friends, as well as the movie enemies, like Kano and Shang Tsung! 

 

Klassic Tower & Equipment 

Embrace the MK nostalgia as you enter the Klassic Tower! Battle against Klassic Bosses like Klassic Scorpion, Klassic Sub-Zero, and Klassic Raiden. Equipment includes Craftsman's Pride and Geek Defenses, plus Finishers for Scorpion and Tremor!

 

Twisted Tower & Equipment 

Welcome to The Joker's Playground! Venture into the new Twister Tower at your own risk to find unusual bosses from teams like Day of the Dead, Kombat Cup, and even Ace of Knaves The Joker himself.

 

Kold Tower & Equipment 

Face Bosses like Skarlet, Sonya, and Shang Tsung in the Kold Tower Event. Armor up with the Telogreika to gain invulnerability while Frozen, or unleash a gust of freezing wind when you equip the Weather Warfare.

Vought Tower & Equipment

Step into the Vought Tower where Homelander calls the shots! Face bosses as you battle toward a final showdown against Homelander himself, the most dangerous being on the planet! Equipment includes the Vought Prime Armor and The Patriot Shield, plus Finishers for Cassie Cage and Sonya Blade!

Tower of Time & Equipment

Confront MK1 Geras, the hourglass guardian! This unique 50 Floor Tower features almost every character in the game and appears for a brief moment, only to return again through the whims of time! Konquer the tower to earn Brutality Equipment sets for Geras and Smoke!
