Welcome to Mortal Kombat mobile's Summer Update. Here’s a look at what’s new:

Three New Kombatants

TOURMENTED SOUL SPAWN

Spawn Arrives: Hell comes to Earth as SPAWN invades Mortal Kombat mobile! Making his mobile debut as a Diamond tier character, Tormented Soul Spawn wields the deadly power of Necroplasm. The longer Spawn fights, the more Necroplasm energy he accumulates, ready to unleash devastating counterattacks. Enemies, beware the Hellspawn!

ONSLAUGHT JAX

Feel the heat this August with ONSLAUGHT JAX! Armed with his iconic blazing fists, this Gold variant of Jax ignites the battlefield like never before. Jax fiercely fights, heating up and empowering himself to heal, increase his damage, and gain resistances. Prepare for a fiery showdown!

MK1 KENSHI

Joining the summer lineup this September is MK1 KENSHI, armed with the mighty Sento blade and guided by ancestors' spirit. Kenshi can summon this spirit to increase his speed and unleash a terrifying Spectral attack. Strengthen your MK1 team with this formidable warrior.

 

NEW HELLSPAWN TOWERS AND EQUIPMENT

Introducing the Hellspawn Tower Events! Prepare for an infernal challenge as you climb into a fiery underworld filled with undead beings and demonic entities like Boss Tormented Soul Spawn and Hellspawn Scorpion. Equip your characters with brand-new tower-themed equipment to ignite their hellish abilities and dominate the battlefield. Travelers beware!

Hellspawn Tower Featured Completion Rewards. Guaranteed Diamond Fighter with increased chances of getting Hellspawn Scorpion, Circle of Shadow Liu Kang, MK11 Shang Tsung, or MK11 Raiden.

Show off your impressive Krypt Runs with our new sharing feature! After each run, receive a shareable performance summary including your earned Badge, total Hearts kollected, overall score, and more fun stats!

 

NEW! FUSION UP KARDS

Introducing a new way to fuse your Kombatants and Equipment! Kollect the new Fusion Up Kards and decide how best to enhance your roster.

 

BUG FIXES AND OPTIMIZATIONS

CHARACTERS

  • Edenian Blood Kitana – fixed the issue where a Special 2 could be blocked
  • Shang Tsung MK1 – fixed the issue where Meat created from Boss did not have Special 1 and 2 available
  • MK11 Jade – fixed the issue when MK11 teammates and Jade affected by Poison took damage from Fire and Bleed instead of Heal
  • Day of the Dead Jade – fixed the issue with Ghost Shield passive triggering incorrectly
  • MK11 Shang Tsung– fixed the issue where Shang Tsung did not passively generate power when in a morphed state.
  • Circle of Shadow Nightwolf – fixed the issue that allowed an Extra Attack to be used again without cooldown
  • Circle of Shadow Nightwolf – fixed the issue when Nightwolf sometimes triggered Tomahawk Throw after the match ended and in other inappropriate moments
  • Lizard Jade – fixed the issue where Team Thrill worked only on the first active opponent
  • Lizard Jade – fixed the issue where a chance to apply Curse on Combo Enders was higher than expected
  • Bo Rai Cho – fixed the issue that allowed Special 1 to apply Stun effect when Bo Rai Cho was affected by Oblivion debuff

EQUIPMENT

  • Coldhearted Ninja’s Dark Cryomancy – fixed the issue where a character could avoid effect 2 by tagging-out right after effect triggered
  • Psych Bomb – fixed the issue when Fusion X Power Steal was applied to Specials but should only apply to Basic Attacks
  • Noble Dainty Gesture – fixed the issue where Negative Effects from Effect 2 were only applied every 15th critical hit regardless of equipment fusion level
  • Noble Dainty Gesture – fixed the issue when Kitana effect triggered before special attack hit the opponent
  • God's Helper Tanuki – fixed the issue when opponent tagged-out or got KO’ed, the Luck and Weaken effects were dispelled
  • Soul Reaver's King Kobra Belt – fixed the issue when incoming DOT and Dark Magic damage was not reduced when applied from Fight Modifiers
  • Weather Warfare – fixed the issue where VFX persisted on the character

KRYPT

  • Fixed the issue where it was possible to purchase cards from the Krypt Store again during the same event
  • Fixed the issue when game might crash while editing team on the Krypt Door’s screen
  • Added Caro’s Guidance and Drahmin’s Mask as possible rewards for Krypt battles
  • Fixed rare crash occurring when using Invigorating Stone after Krypt run

UX/UI

  • Store Improvements: Rune store has been moved to Store Hub, added instant fund top-up for currency shortages
  • Store polishing: new tooltips and timers with new offers in Dragon Krystal store
  • Added auto-filtering for characters in pre-battle based on battle requirements
  • Introduced tags for selected filters on Equipment Inspection Pop Up
  • Merged Combat and Combat Effects tabs in Glossary menu. Additionally, available during Fights from Pause Menu in Help
  • Implemented navigation between Equipment items in pop-up
  • New “How It Works” help pop-ups added for Shao Khan Tower, Relic Hunt, Reptile Event, Feats, Talents, and Character Upgrade
  • Fixed the issue when "Allegiances" equipped icons did not display on the character preview

OTHER

  • Kollector’s Gold Kasket now contains Ascendable characters
  • Fixed outdated drop rates for several of Tower packs
  • Faction Wars: Characters that become Ascended by Fusion Boost modifier now may perform Brutality if they have related equipment
  • Attack Steal behavior has been slightly fixed
  • Fixed issues when DeadZone Battle Modifier didn’t disable characters’ Passives
