What is included in Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate?

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate offers the definitive, Mortal Kombat 11 experience with the addition of Kombat Pack 2 featuring new playable fighters Mileena, Rain and Rambo, along with the previously released Mortal Kombat 11 main game, Kombat Pack 1 and Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Expansion.

When is Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate available?

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is scheduled to release beginning Nov. 17 for $59.99 (SRP). 

 

What platforms will Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate be available on?

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate will be available on PS5, PS4*, PS4 Pro*, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, Nintendo Switch*, PC* and Stadia*.


*Please note, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate on PS5, PS4 and PS4 Pro will be available digitally beginning Nov. 17. The PS4 and PS4 Pro physical version in the Americas (except in Brazil) will be available in January. Additionally, the Nintendo Switch version in the Americas will be available digitally only, while the PC and Stadia versions will be available digitally only worldwide – both releasing on Nov. 17.

 

Is there a Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Kollector's Edition?

Yes. A physical Ultimate Kollector's Edition will also be available on Nov. 17 for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. This will contain the following content:

  • Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate
  • Sub-Zero Mask Statue (1:1 Scale)
  • Exclusive Steelcase
  • Exclusive Dragon Logo Die Cut Magnet
  • Exclusive DLC Avalanche Sub-Zero Skin

Is the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Kollector’s Edition available in the US?

No. This is an EU exclusive, it is not available in the Americas.

 

When can I preorder Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate?

You can preorder digitally through the PlayStation, Microsoft, Stadia and Steam Stores beginning Oct. 15 and the Nintendo eShop beginning Oct. 22. Timing will vary depending on store updates and your region.

  • PlayStation Store – 08:00 AM PDT
  • PlayStation Store (Asia) – Noon JST (Oct. 16)
  • Nintendo eShop – 10:00 AM PDT (Oct. 22)
  • Microsoft Store – 08:00 AM PDT
  • Steam – 10:00 AM PDT
  • Google Stadia – 10:00 AM PDT

If you preorder digitally, you will be able to access already available content such as the Mortal Kombat 11 main game, Kombat Pack 1, Shao Kahn character and Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Expansion at the point of purchase.

This bundle will also be available for preorder physically through most major retailers.

 

Is there exclusive pre-order content?

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate preorders receive the Time Warriors Skin Pack at launch (Nov. 17), which features new character skin variants.

  • “HCF” (Halt and Catch Fire) Liu Kang
  • “Dark Web” Noob Saibot
  • “Blood Moon” Skarlet

Each skin has six color palettes and three gear pieces for each gear slot.

Digital preorders will receive automatic access at launch. Physical preorders will receive a redeem code from supporting retailers. We suggest checking with the retailer before making your purchase.

 

I plan on purchasing Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate on PS4 or Xbox One, will I be able to play the game on the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S as well?

Yes. PS4 and Xbox One players can access a free upgrade to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of their game on Nov. 17. Please note, PS4 players who purchase the physical version will need to redeem the code inside the game box to access their upgrade to the PS5 version of their game.


The main game and any add-ons you already own will carry over to next generation systems in the same console ecosystem.

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Expansion is now named Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate in my console menus and in-game after the Nov. 17 game update. Does this mean I get all of the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate content for free?

Similar to how players saw the Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Expansion added to the game title after the release of that content, Mortal Kombat 11 will now be titled Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate after the Nov. 17 update. This is to indicate the new content update released in conjunction with the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate launch. Please note, players will still need to have purchased Kombat Pack 1, Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Expansion or Kombat Pack 2 to access that content in the game.

 

When can I access Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate digital and Kombat Pack 2?

You can digitally access Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate and Kombat Pack 2 through the PlayStation, Microsoft, Stadia and Steam Stores and the Nintendo eShop beginning Nov. 17. Timing will vary depending on store updates and your region.

I already own the main game and other add-on content, will Kombat Pack 2 be sold separately from Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate?

Yes. Kombat Pack 2 will be available for sale on Nov. 17 for $14.99 (SRP).

 

When can I preorder Kombat Pack 2?

Kombat Pack 2 preorders will be available on PlayStation, Microsoft, and Steam Stores beginning Oct. 15. Preorders will not be available for Kombat Pack 2 on Nintendo eShop and Stadia Store.

 

Is there preorder bonus content?

Yes. Kombat Pack 2 preorders will receive the Time Warriors Skin Pack at launch.

FREE PS5 or Xbox Series X|S Upgrade

On Nov. 17 when the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of Mortal Kombat 11 are made available in conjunction with the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate launch, Mortal Kombat 11 and Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate owners and new buyers on PS4 or Xbox One consoles can access free upgrades to the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S versions of their game.

Krossplay

Will there be cross-platform support on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S?

Yes. PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One players can fight against players on opposite platforms in select modes.
