Considering the new introduction of Fusion X and Level 60, stats of the characters has changed and I decide to redo a guide regarding the Kold War trio. Starting things off will be Kold War Sonya Blade.
Kold War Sonya Blade (KWSB) basic stats:
P Gen: 100%
Passive: +30% damage vs outworld, Ice shield for all teammates (including herself) that significantly reduces sp damage (including x-ray damage).
The first part of her passive is a slight damage boost. While it does make her hit harder against OW characters such as Jade, it is not really game changing. The second part of her passive, however, is one of the most influential passives in this game, which is extremely impressive since she is quite an early introduced character. Her ice shield is applied to all teammates regardless of class and can reduce 90% damage received from a single sp attack.
KWSB has 2 basic combos. Her first combo is a 1-1-1 combo (number indicates the number of hits per tap), with a 3 hit combo ender. Her second combo is a 1-1-1 combo with a 2 hit combo ender. Having both combo with multi-hit ender gives her decent power gen on basic combos, but her single hit basic combos are not very good for block breaking.
Sp1: Arc Kick Special effect: None Damage range: 13,628-27,256
The sp1 of KWSB has 3 hits, with a damage distribution of approximately 2:3:5. It has a horizontal/vertical rapid swiping mini-game that happens before the first hit. The damage dealt is not very impressive, in addition to having no additional effect. 3 hits can be hard for block breaking, and has mediocre risk to trigger bone shield/revenant. Overall this is not a sp I would recommend you to use for KWSB unless you are desperate for that chunk of damage and your sp2 is unavailable.
Sp2: For the Motherland Special effect: Power Drain Damage Range: 36,795-70,865
The sp2 of KWSB has a lot of hits. The sp first begins with a single circle rapid tap mini game, after which KWSB will execute about 3-4 hits, with equal damage, after which there will be a column cursor mini-game, which KWSB with perform about a dozen hits with equal damage While each hit in first part hits harder than each hit in second part, with a ratio close to 8:5, the bulk of damage is dealt with the second part. As a multi-hitting sp, KWSB's sp2 is very good at block breaking, in fact if you have block breaking equip or passive, her sp2 is almost guranteed a block breaker. However, t also means if your opponentis not blocking, he or she will gain a lot of power, and revenant/bone shield is also almost guranteed. This problem is somewhat remdied by the sp comes with power drain, which by default drains more power than it can generate for the opponent. KWSB's sp2 is very powerful, I would recommend building up for sp2 rather than using sp1 early.
X-ray: Special Forces Special effect: Power Drain Damage:83,130
As a Kold War character, going with other Kold War characters is a good idea, especially since KWSB has a passive that gets more effective with more Kold War teammates.
As a spec op character, other spec op related characters are also good partners. SOSC, COCC, BK are good examples. UHJC, DSB, ALJC also works well.
Finally, any one who enjoys opponent throwing sp at them would enjoy KWSB. Examples include RJV, AJ, RK, Kintaro and VS. It is important to note that TQC does not do so well with KWSB as the passives will overlap and mostly go to waste.
Weapon: The weapon I recommend the most is fully fused Moloch's Ball and Chain. As someone who enjoys using sp2, MB&C's chance for sp2 to cost nothing is godsend. MB&C's block breaker chance combined with KWSB's multi-hit sp2 is a guranteed block breaker. Other weaponto consider includes Bloody Tomahawk for more Power Drain on sp2, and unfused Wrath Hammer for easier extra bar of power for newer players who cannot obtain fully fused FW store equipment yet.
Armor: Sonya Blade's signature gear, Military Vest, is my most recommended armor. It provides a good health boost, and a good critical hit reduction, singificantly boosting the durability of KWSB. While heal on x-ray is not very useful, it is still pretty good when you have BK or KW team and x-ray are more likely.
Accessory: Nothing I would recommend in particular but Soul Medalion or Bloody Voodoo Doll are both pretty good choices for easier multiple sp2 usage.
