This is a simple guide on how to record videos from your fights and upload them on the forum.
A big "Thank you!" to @Mortal_Kombatnt for the iOS part of the tutorial.
Android Sceen Recording
Since many Android devices do not include a native screen-recording app, i'm going for a universal method that will work on all of them.
You will have to download the application
DU Recorder from playstore.
(It's free, full featured and it doesn't require root)
I'm pointing out that I don't have any connections with the app's developer.
I just found it the most useful and i'm using it for the tutorial.
Feel free to use any screen recording app.
Once you've installed the app, when you open it, the options will pop out as seen in the picture below.
1. Press on the preferences button to select the way your videos will be recorded:
2. Press the record button to start your video. A countdown will begin and your recording will start.
3. Press the stop button to finish.
For iOS users:
Screen Recording in iOS 11
A new native feature with iOS 11 is Screen Recording. I've tested different a couple of different resolution & fps settings, but not all. One setting that should be maintained is High Efficiency. High Efficency is a new format container for video and photos on iOS, iOS also gives you Most Compatible. I've tried Most Compatible when recording videos and when transferred to a Windows machine the audio does not sync, only in High Efficency mode will it playback videos correctly on Windows.
To reach this setting go to: Settings > Camera > Formats and choose High Efficency. It might already be set to HE by default.
Steps to set up Screen Recording:
1.) First, go to Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls.
2.) Add the Screen Recording toggle from the ‘More Controls’ section to ‘Include.’
3.) Now lift up the Control Center by swiping up from the bottom of the display and tap the newly added Screen Recording button. You’ll first see a 3 second timer after which the recording will begin. Press the button again to stop the recording and the movie will be saved to the Camera Roll.
